Beta Reading and Developmental Editing Hiatus

Hello, Writers!

The last few months have been super busy. And with many events ahead for me this summer, I’ve decided to take a hiatus from beta reading and developmental editing, instead of attempting to schedule around everything else.

I’ll still happily schedule any formatting or sample edit requests that come in, though, as those are easier to fit into a small time slot.

But for the beta reading and developmental editing, I won’t start any work again until September 16, 2019. You’re welcome to submit your job requests via the forms for that date forward before then. I’ll still reply to any filled out forms or questions via email, and I’m quite happy to schedule well ahead of time. I just won’t start any work until the stated date.

Hopefully this will also give me some time to tweak a few things on the website concerning my services and update my forms, as well. I still hope to offer Beta Reading Plus as an option in the future. And I may even start offering paperback formatting with Vellum!

I hope you all have a wonderful summer, and feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions.

Summer’s Coming!

Hello, everyone!

It’s been some time since I posted, but I’ve been busy busy with writing and editing.

If you’re looking to schedule a beta read or developmental edit for summer, do it soon before all of my slots fill up!

I may also be adding an extra service to beta reading called Beta Read Plus. This would give you the opportunity to have a brief back-and-forth email discussion with me after I hand over my reader reactions and comments. It would cost another $0.001 per word. If you’d be interested in such an addition, please let me know!

Enjoy your spring and summer, and may many readers feverishly read your tales!

Formatting Changes – Now Using Vellum!

Greetings, writers and readers! I hope your 2018 has started out well.

I have some changes in the new year to my Ebook Formatting services. I’m now using Vellum to format ebooks (and maybe soon I’ll even offer paperback formatting).

Because of this change, I’ve adjusted the prices as well as several details. Take a look at the updated information on the Formatting page. And I now have 3 different styles to choose from — the sample documents have been updated and I even have PDF versions available so you can easily view what the formatted ebooks will look like without having to download the EPUB or MOBI.

As for Developmental Editing and Beta Reading, slots are open from March forward. And as always, I will do a sample edit if requested.
